'Nothing Gold' is an exercise in impermanence. Autumn Rhythm's third album, released shortly before the band splits for college, finds the group treading familiar thematic ground (anxiety, city kids, making coffee, growing up) while blanketing their signature blend of shoegaze and indie rock in heavy layers of distortion. it's music best enjoyed on a long walk home.
